We offer the following procedures to our patients, all done in a caring and comfortable atmosphere. All testing is non-invasive.
Electrocardiogram (EKG) - This test measures the electrical function of the heart.
Impedance Cardiography (ICG) - This test measures the mechanical function of the heart.
PFTS – Lung functions are tested by a simple breathing exercise.
Holter Monitor – A small recording device is worn for a 24-hour period, to detect irregular heartbeats.
Pacer Checks – A technician will check your Pacemaker or Defibrillator for proper functioning.
Echocardiogram – An ultrasound of the heart, which provides valuable information on the chamber size, the heart valves, and pumping force.
Carotid Doppler – An ultrasound of the carotid arteries, located in the neck, that reveals blockage which may possibly cause a stroke.
Arterial and Venous Doppler – Both are types of ultrasounds, done on the legs, which can reveal blockages or clots, creating poor circulation and leg pain.
Nuclear Stress Tests – We offer several types of Stress Testing. By having you walk on the treadmill or injecting medications, we are able to determine whether your heart is getting enough blood supply to work properly. We closely monitor you during and after exercise and take diagnostic pictures of your heart, after injecting radioactive dye. The technology we use is the most diagnostic tool available, without surgical intervention.
Laboratory - Our laboratory is maintained by a certified Medical Assistant. She is skilled at collecting blood and is able to perform an array of testing. This includes: Cholesterol panels, Hemoglobin A1C, Thyroid screening, Coumadin levels and urine screening.
